Christ is Risen!
Reverend Fathers! Brothers & Sisters in Christ!
As we are still under the imposed measures of self isolation and quarantine during our attempt to stop the spread of COVID-19, yet this is the time in which we, through Provody, traditionally bring the new of the Resurrection of Christ our God to those who lie asleep in our various cemeteries, it is necessary for this year to find a path forward with these restrictions in mind. As our current restrictions of social distance and the prohibition of mass gatherings do not permit us to assemble physically in our cemeteries, His Grace Bishop Ilarion will serve a Parastas (or Great Panakhyda) for the Repose of the souls of our departed Fathers, Mothers, Brothers, Sisters & Children who lie asleep in the Lord. This service will take place at St. Anthony of Kyiv Ukrainian Orthodox Church, beginning at 8:50am on Saturday, May 2, 2020. All the clergy and faithful of our Eparchy are invited to watch via YouTube and Facebook by visiting the links provided below.
